What Cisco collaboration tools does vorza360 deploy and support?

vorza360 deploys and supports Cisco’s full collaboration portfolio to connect your team through voice, video, and messaging. For cloud-based collaboration, we implement Cisco Webex Meetings, Webex Teams (messaging, file sharing, and integrated calling), and Webex Calling (cloud-hosted PBX with Cisco’s carrier-grade reliability). For on-premises VoIP, we deploy and configure Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), the enterprise IP PBX platform powering Cisco IP phones and soft clients, and Cisco Unity Connection for voicemail and unified messaging. For SIP trunk connectivity to the public telephone network, we configure Cisco CUBE (Cisco Unified Border Element) on ISR routers as the SIP trunk termination point. For room-based video conferencing, we configure Cisco Room Kit, Room Bar, and Webex Board devices. We provide a complete unified communications solution that integrates voice, video, and messaging on a single platform.

Deploying Cisco IP phones requires careful network preparation alongside the Cisco Unified Communications Manager configuration. vorza360 configures Cisco VoIP by preparing the network first: configuring dedicated Voice VLANs on all Cisco switches where IP phones will be connected, enabling CDP (Cisco Discovery Protocol) which allows the switch to automatically push the Voice VLAN ID to connected Cisco IP phones, configuring Cisco QoS to prioritize voice DSCP-marked traffic through the network, and ensuring all switch ports connected to phones have PortFast enabled for immediate connectivity. On CUCM, we add and configure each phone (or use auto-registration and phone button templates for bulk deployment), configure directory numbers (extensions), create call routing dial plans, set up user accounts in the CUCM directory, configure voicemail pilot numbers pointing to Unity Connection, and configure hunt groups and shared lines as required. We test audio quality for internal and PSTN calls, validating that QoS is functioning correctly by monitoring active call MOS scores.

Cisco Webex is the cloud-based collaboration platform that brings together meetings, messaging, calling, and events in a single application. vorza360 configures Cisco Webex for business deployment through the Webex Control Hub, the administrative interface where user provisioning, security policies, service configuration, and monitoring are managed. Our Webex deployment service includes: provisioning all user accounts with appropriate licenses (Webex Calling, Webex Meetings, or Webex Suite), configuring the organization’s domain and Single Sign-On (SSO) integration with Active Directory or Okta for seamless employee login, setting up meeting security policies (meeting passwords, waiting rooms, end-to-end encryption options), configuring Webex Calling with the appropriate calling plan (cloud-based PSTN or integration with existing on-premises CUCM/CUBE infrastructure), deploying Webex devices (desk phones, room systems) and registering them to the organization’s Webex account, and configuring external communication policies governing how employees can interact with users outside the organization.

Cisco CUBE (Cisco Unified Border Element) is the enterprise session border controller that interfaces between a business’s internal SIP infrastructure (CUCM, Webex Calling) and the public telephone network via SIP trunk providers or ISDN services. vorza360 configures Cisco CUBE on Cisco ISR routers by enabling the voice service VoIP mode, configuring the SIP trunk parameters matching the SIP trunk provider’s technical requirements (codec preferences, DTMF relay method, T.38 fax relay, SIP OPTIONS ping for trunk keep-alive), configuring dial-peer patterns that route outbound calls from CUCM to the correct SIP trunk destination and inbound calls from the SIP trunk to CUCM, implementing security measures (source IP address validation, TLS/SRTP encryption for the SIP trunk if the provider supports it), and configuring SIP normalization profiles to handle any header manipulation required by the trunk provider. We test CUBE configuration with inbound and outbound call tests and validate media quality using CUBE’s embedded call statistics.

VoIP systems are business-critical infrastructure, a phone system outage directly impacts customer communication, sales, and support operations. vorza360 implements Cisco VoIP high availability through redundant architecture at each layer. For Cisco Unified Communications Manager, we deploy CUCM in a cluster with a minimum of two server nodes in a Publisher/Subscriber relationship, ensuring that if one node fails, phones register to the remaining node automatically. We configure SRST (Survivable Remote Site Telephony) on branch office Cisco ISR routers so that if WAN connectivity to the main CUCM cluster is lost, branch office phones fall back to the router’s local Cisco voice gateway for continued local and PSTN calling capability. For CUBE, we configure dual SIP trunks from different trunk providers so that if one provider experiences an outage, outbound calling automatically routes through the alternative provider. For Webex cloud deployments, Cisco’s cloud infrastructure provides inherent geographic redundancy.
